ACCOUNTABILITY BUDDIES! Topic

Can I join in kinda young (20) I have struggled with an eating disorder and I just wanna feel comfortable in my own body 🥲

Thank you for the ideas Brenda

Hi Aminalatoya7,

While tracking food & exercise can be valuable for users wanting to improve their health, it can reinforce unhealthy behaviors for those with or at risk of developing an eating disorder. We suggest you not use the app and get help if you have an eating disorder. We at MyNetDiary take health very seriously. We prohibit anyone with an active eating disorder from using the app. Research has shown that tracking while struggling with an eating disorder can make things worse. Here are our terms and conditions for your review: https://www.mynetdiary.com/terms.html

In addition, here's some important information about disordered eating with resources for support: https://www.mynetdiary.com/do-no-harm-mynetdiary-supports-healthful-eating.html

The National Eating Disorder Association can help. Here is their contact info: https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/help-support/contact-helpline

We care about your health and want you to be healthy! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Can I please join?

This is my first post! Love the idea of accountability buddies for reinforcement. Congratulations KT on wt loss and identifying your weaknesses! I am also an evening snacker and crave crunchy, salty snacks which is bad. I keep a container of different cut up veggies in fridge to grab to chew on and fill me up, with hummus, plain fat free Greek yogurt with blueberries or low fat Daisy cottage cheese. Those things are satisfying.

Firefgrl, some protein sources that I like are quinoa, chickpeas, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, tofu, edamame, dried beans, sharp cheeses and occasionally lean meat. We have a large garden and eat plenty of leafy greens and vegetables in season. Sounds like you are on the right track!

Hi! I’d like to join for some support 😌

U11, welcome! What are your goals?

Hi can u join too

I could use some help too. I’m on a low carb diet to prevent diabetes. I’ve been successful in dropping my A1C from
6.5 to 5.7. Since early May, I’ve dropped 14 pounds. It has come off sooo slow! Some days I feel like I’m only maintaining. As I look at my analysis, I too am lower on protein intake. Higher on fats and carbs. I’m not used to eating higher amounts of protein
