Couch to 5k Topic


Anyone doing ‘Couch to 5k’ at the moment? I’m finding it excellent. (Currently on Week 4).


Way to go!! I did Couch to 5k about six years ago and loved it. Actually, I needed several tries at C25K - my knees kept bothering me. Needed to run on a flat surface, get better shoes and let my joints ease into the new demands. I kept running with the Runkeeper app after I finished C25K. Never would have believed it before but I have turned into a dedicated runner (along with weight training). Even doing 3 half marathons this Spring!

Have you tried the zombie voice? I didn’t realize I could change the voice when I used the app - the zombie chase would just be epic!!! So keep it up and maybe sign up for a local 5k when you are done - the races are a blast and very motivating if you keep a couple on your calendar. Super excited for you!
