Customisable meals & copying entries Topic


Love MyNetDiary, having been using it for years. I have upgraded to premium at the start of this year and it’s been fantastic. I have two suggestions that I personally would really find useful for the app so thought I’d share them here.

1. Being able to customise how many meals there are per day (and their names). I like to have a pre/post-workout meal, morning and afternoon snacks in addition to my three main meals. Right now everything other than main meals has to go into the one snack category it it would be great to have it logged as separate meals.

2. I basically have a two week meal plan that I follow so that what I eat repeats every two weeks. This is really cumbersome to log because (a) it’s more than a week back so I can’t just use recent meals and (b) when you copy all meals from one day to another it puts them all in a single meal. It would be great if shooting a day off food to another day would automatically keep it in the meals it was already in.

We will definitely add support for multiple meals later this year - we have to finish quite a few new things before that.

We will increase the recent meals list to three weeks. We hope this would help to speed up your food logging.
