Deficit not matching scale Topic

I have been using this app since May and have lost 35lbs. In the past few weeks my deficits have been in the 900-1200 range (the weekend deficits are about 500-750) and the scale isn’t budging much, if at all. It has been a much slower loss the past few weeks even though I’m still in a deficit and not going over my macros. What could be wrong?

Are you perhaps not getting enough exercise? Dieting without enough exercise, could cause you to lose muscle mass. With lowered muscle mass, your BMR goes down and you end up burning less calories during your metabolism.

If you stay in a deficit for an extended length of time, your body adapts. I’d go up to maintenance for a while before going back into a deficit

I am sorry the scale has lowed/stopped reflecting your hard work. I realize this can be frustrating and cause doubt in the process~

Here are a few things to consider:
1. Just as U1190396832 mentioned- I suggest checking in with your exercise. Are you making time each week for strength training? Lifting weights or doing some type of resistance training is important for muscle-building when losing weight and keeping it off.
