Down another 5.5 lbs! Topic


Pleased with myself & a bit surprised. I only weigh myself monthly (this works best for me) & was shocked yesterday when the scale said I was down another 5.5lbs, since I had multiple days where I was over my calorie count during that time. Just goes to show the overall effort & work has a bigger effect than a few โ€œbadโ€ days & no one should let those discourage them!

Yes! What proof that consistency and persistence are important when it comes to weight loss. Way to go! Tracking is a powerful tool indeed.

Nicely done CanadaAnne! I agree that it is so important to step back and reflect on the big picture and appreciate the results! It's so smart to not get caught up in the "minutiae" and try to avoid getting discouraged with a "few bad days". It's good to be detailed when logging but not great to get down on yourself if you go over your calorie budget. After all, we are all human. Learn from it and move on:)
