Hi, I need to lose about 11kg and my due date is in around 2 months. I’ve been exercising and counting calories. If I keep this up for 2 months, do you think this is possible? Also, if you have any tips for weight lost, please tell me?

Hi there! As long as you are being healthy about it, you should be fine. Just remember that if you start to almost starve yourself your body goes into lockdown and actually retains weight because it thinks you are in a survival situation. As for hints, one of the best things to do is to eat high protein for breakfast an snacks. Protein keeps you full, and I would recommend protein bars. in my experience I can eat one in the morning and one in the afternoon and be mostly full for the day, and therefore eat only a small lunch. Also, allow yourself to an unhealthy snack every now and then, but keep it to the weekends, and only one or two a week. Doing those two things helped me loose 30 pounds in two months while keeping my calories high enough to support my body!

As a medical professional, I would suggest you work hard to maintain your weight as opposed to trying to lose weight while pregnant.
What weight would your doctor like you to be at? Listen to your doctor. They know your situation the best!
