I have not been tracking since Thursday nor walking. I caught a cold that really knocked me down( just a cold). I have not been eating the greatest. Can someone be real with me and tell me how much damage I have done? I have no scale. My mind says I look huge. Tomorrow I am getting back. I need some encouragement. Anyone? Anyone? 💕

Hi, Southerngal! We all have periods where we have to give ourselves some grace. You were sick and the most important thing was to take care of yourself - physically and emotionally. Letting yourself off the hook for calorie tracking and exercise for a few days isn’t going to ruin anything. Everything you’ve done up to this point counts and everything you do from this point counts! Be kind to yourself, let go of any guilt, and just rededicate yourself now that you are ready! You’ve got this!

Thanks for the encouragement ChristieHolmes :) I am just going to press on. I walked 45 mins incline this morning and did about 20 mins of strength training. I feel so good! I just want to see results right away!!!! 🙃

Hi there Southerngal-
I hope you are feeling better and your cold is on its way out!
I agree with all of the comments. The weight loss journey is all about progress not perfection. Listening to your body in the short and long term will pay off. Developing a healthy relationship with food and accepting that every day may not go exactly as planned is healthy for long-term success. To answer your question, taking a few days off from tracking will not ruin all of your hard work.
