Free vs PRO app (iPhone) Topic

Hi B3910476 and other members:

Free vs. PRO app info
* The PRO app simply allows you to track more nutrients and to customize your macros and nutrients. Many folks find that the free app does a great job and they don't feel that they need to buy the PRO app.

* Neither the free app nor the PRO app requires you to buy a subscription. However, be sure to create an account to log your foods so that your data is accessible from any platform you choose to use or upgrade to in the future.

* If you need to track extended nutrients, customize macros and other nutrients, track diabetes, do calories cycling, want access to all available reports and charts, link to FitBit/Garmin, text or more easily share custom foods/recipes, then my pick is to use the free app with a Premium subscription. The Premium subscription unlocks all features from the free app.

I hope this information helps,
Kathy, consulting dietiitan/diabetes educator with MyNetDiary

Is the food grade given in both versions?

Hi! Great question! Let me find out from the developers and get back with you. Hang tight. Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Hello U1187567280- Yes! The Food score is available for free on all applications and platforms. Here is some more info about it which goes into greater detail about the benefits (for example when comparing 2 brands of bread) and limitations. Have a great day! Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

My question???? Do I need a cell phone? I was offered Noom but needed a cell phone! I am thinking about the pro app.

Hi there Suzib123-
MyNetDiary has a web app or you might want to download the MyNetDiary app onto a tablet.
So to answer your question, no you don't need a cell phone to access www.mynetdiary.com
Please let us know if any other questions remain. We are happy to help! Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

I have been using MyNetDiary on my Android phone and the web version. I have an iPhone and have downloaded My NetDiary. I am confused about whether I should use the ANDROID version or the iPhone. The Android version relies on Google Fit while iPhone on Apple Health. There may be sync issues if I use both the Android and the iPhone. Please guide.

Hello Rajesha, thank you for asking! It would be better if you either unlink one of the devices from Google Fit/Apple Health or stick with one device that you are more comfortable with to avoid possible data conflicts between the info that is imported from Google Fit/Apple Health.
