I’m an ectomorph, I started the gym weighing 7.5 stone at the age of 17, I am now 22 years old weighing 11 stone, I’m still trying to gain weight, I am eating 3,400 calories a day, i have an overactive thyroid, it is about 0.5 over the normal thyroid, will this amount of calories give me enough of a surplus to gain weight, I don’t do cardio, only weights.

Hi Danielmaddog- Gaining muscle can be more challenging than people realize! It sounds like you have a good plan with incorporating weights into your routine. Though you may need to eat even more than 3,400 calories/day to see a gain (depending on your activity level).
Make sure to eat 3m/day + snacks and some protein at every meal and snack.
Here are some tips that can help: https://www.mynetdiary.com/weight-gain-for-many-people-it-s-not-as-easy-as-it-sounds.html
