I’m just wondering why I am gaining weight after working out? Any one?


You usually gain weight in the beginning it’s normal


Yes especially if your using protein powders and building muscle


How much weight have you gained. How often are you weighing yourself and are you tracking your intake.


I am weighing everyday, and tracking my food intake. Was reading it could be water retention to help heal muscles? Is that a thing? I am using protein powder after.


I gained about 1.2 pounds now lost the one after rest day but still have the .2; not a lot I know but it’s discouraging as all hell!


Are you measuring arms and hips? Muscle weighs more.

Your body retains water while you form the tears in your muscles. This is normal and your body will adapt if you are in a true deficit!
