Garlic scapes high in calories? Topic

Ok...I went to log a cup of garlic scapes and
they were 202 calories. Does anyone know ...especially the dietician if that is correct.
That’s awful high for a non starchy veggie.
Saw online from one site the same count an wonder if Mynetdiary got its info there.

Hi Miatagal- 1 cup of raw garlic does contain 200 calories. Were you eating the scape and the clove? Wow! You must love garlic. The good news is that it is a very healthy vegetable! Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
