My main problem is not leaving the snacks alone like I cut my snack down as eating one snack a day now . At night time I get a little hungry and I get sum to snack on but I stopped that lately . I’m just trying to get down to least 202 or lil lesser not tht far down . Just kinda frustrated.. need advice .

Hi U1195240692,

It sounds like you've made some great improvements in your habits. Habits like snacking can be hard to change so hope you feel good about it all. Are you frustrated because you are not losing? Are you staying within your calorie budget for weight loss? Is exercise a part of your plan?

You can do this! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Yea it’s part of the reason I feel like I’m not losing or seeing any progress. I know it will take time . I exercise here and there while I can . Sometimes I do when my child falls asleep but once summer comes I’m planning on walking around the park every day or every other day . Just when I try on clothes my stomach bothers me and makes the whole outfit terrible and I change . Just want my stomach to go down my main problem not anything else with my body just my stomach is the issue.

Hi there U1195240692-
Sorry to hear you are struggling. It can be frustrating when we feel like we are putting in the effort and don't see the results we think we should.

Great idea to get outside and walk with your child! Spending time outside is soothing to the soul, improves mental health, and burns calories. Plus, this movement may help you feel better about your body and appreciate all that it can do, as opposed to focusing a lot of attention on your stomach.
Here are a few articles I think you may find helpful. The first is a list of calorie-controlled snacks. Keeping snacks at bay can be tough, especially when you have kids: https://www.mynetdiary.com/low-calorie-snacks-that-fill-you-up.html

The second article is a reminder of the benefits of exercising outdoors:

The third talks about body positivity: https://www.mynetdiary.com/improve-body-image.html

Hang in there and please keep us posted! Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Get rid of all the high calorie snacks, that’s what helps me. Have available plenty of low cal snacks.
