high protein + healthy easy school lunch snacks/meals Topic

hello! i just wanted to ask if anybody had any recommendations or suggestions because i seem to struggle when adding protein into my school lunches, and i genuinely just want to have a healthy lunch to pack for school. and i just wanted to ask for some advice :)

I was in the same situation but now I tend to bring protein yogurt and some sort of ham sandwich which provides a decent amount of protein

Protein bars are not a bad choice but are unfortunately quite expensive. Nature Valley have good alternatives, only 180 cals per protein bar. Avoid packing crisps that have more than 200 calories, oven baked are 150 calories and are a good option.

Hi there U1192328299-
Here are some of my favorite protein-rich foods for lunches:
1. Hard-boiled eggs
2. Hummus (use as a dip for veggies or whole-grain crackers)
3. Nut butter. Great on celery
4. Cheese (add to a sandwich or alone)
5. Jerky

Hi U1192328299 - I love shrimp, either on its own or sautéed in a nice marinade. There are some great Panache brand ones I have found & you only need a bit, so the calories are not terribly high.
Be careful with protein bars. Look for a high quality one that actually has a lot of protein, not a lot of sugar & not a lot of calories. Unfortunately they do tend to be on the more expensive side.
Good luck.
