How to stop yo-yoing! Topic

I would dearly love to know what I do wrong to keep yo-yoing, going up and down in weight for at least 3 months! I’m trying to stay on track but maybe I should just stick to plant based diet since I appear to gain when I eat meat! That’s very hard for me to do though since I’m also diabetic. Can you recommend a diet for me?

Do you workout ? If so fat turning into muscle can do that ..

I do work out for my health! I walk ride a bike and do a little resistance training but it’s not constant more like every other day

Hi there Candy69-
Strong work on prioritizing your health by engaging in regular physical activity and paying attention to what you are eating and how it impacts your glucose! This takes time and effort and you are doing it which is awesome!
Several different eating patterns support weight loss AND glucose control simultaneously. You may be surprised to discover the vegetarian eating pattern is one of those plans. There is no reason you must eat meat. There are plenty of foods that are rich in plant-based proteins, such as beans, peas, tempeh, tofu, nuts (though watch the amounts), and whole grains. If you are wanting to change things up you might try following the Mediterranean eating pattern: https://www.mynetdiary.com/mediterranean-diet.html
The MyNetDiary app is very flexible allowing you to easily change eating patterns or diet plans depending on your preferences and and health goals.

Thank you so much for your advice! I’m looking into it!

What kind of yoyo, up 10 down 10? Or do you mean weighing every morning and one day up a pound and the next down? That is natural fluctuating and happens to all of us. I weigh each morning to stay invested, but month to month history is what matters to me. Best wishes!
