I've just started here so need some friends to motivate me :)


Same here. Started about 2 weeks ago but not logging or watching consistently.

logging is trivial ... when you have engaged your rythm.. but I think that some trick at the beginning are useful, here mine:
1) pick 'n buy some simple foods, use recurring: can of tuna, green beans, eggs (if possible maintain brand and type to avoid the scale misure), carrots, califlower, can of vegetables soup ... using these "bare" foods

2) establish a routine to avoid any tentation: breakfast should be a repetition, f.e. 125ml of low skim milk, 2 rusks, 40 gr of strawberry marmalade ... along the time you can alternating by half can (290 gr) of pineapple (the one with pineapple juice and without sugar) ... the app copy function allows you to speed up your repetitive logging ;-)

3) if you (as me) launch out of home, choose always "pasta" with tomato sauce, and a small spoon of Parmigiano cheese, keep attention to obtain a light portion, if you aren't a Gardener or a mason, surely you don't burn a lot of calories during day. pick a fruit. It's difficult to estimate non self cooked food, so keep your launch simple, predictive, and lower the logging estimate errors. Alternatively turkey/chicken cooked without oil/sauce (i.e. boiled) is a good alternative ... under/over estimate produce a little difference in calories.

3) leave proteins for the dinner, you are comfortably in you home and with your trusted scale :-)

4) avoid nightly military assaults to refrigerator ... or alternatively put 5 charms on table, when you silently came to the kitchen those shall be your reminder at limited calories intake :-)
