I am focusing on low carb and healthier choices. Mostly doing a lot of research and learning. But one thing I absolutely must have is my coffee in the morning. And I like it sweet. I have been trying so many different things. I currently use half-and-half and a teaspoon of brown sugar but it’s just not good enough for me. Any ideas? I only drink my coffee hot

Hi there! One thing I like to do is adding Torani sugar free syrups to my coffee. It’s not a creamer, but it adds flavor and sweetness to it. They have no calories, sugar, or carbs. I use the pumpkin spice and French vanilla with both iced and hot coffee and they taste pretty good.

Hi U1189036105- Have you tried adding stevia to your 1/2 and 1/2 and coffee? You might also try adding some cinnamon- It adds a hint of sweetness and has a lot of health benefits.

I use this stuff called Super Creamer. They have vanilla (which is what I've been using), hazelnut, and sweet cream. The ingredients are:
Filtered water, cream, milk protein isolate, MCT oil, Monk Fruit, natural flavor, potassium phosphate, natural vanilla flavor, gellan gum.

If you like coconut there is a cream replacement from Organika called “Keto MCT” it’s gluten free, vegan and sugar free but has a nice flavour. I don’t drink coffee but add to my tea.

Something that I have discovered as a great cream substitute for my coffee...it’s called nutpods they come in many different flavors. And then of course I add a smidge of stevia.

Honestly, I just use a tbsp or two of heavy cream (heavy whipping cream), and a good sweetener with no bitter aftertaste (I can't stand any amount of Stevia) that won't spike your blood sugar is monk fruit sweetener. Read labels. Some brands are blends. If you can't find it in store, Amazon is a good bet.

The best addition to coffee is butter. Learn to like coffee black and add as much butter as you like. The butter is full of MCT fats and saturated fats, which are the healthiest fuel for a ketogenic individual.
