Think about how proud you’ll be of yourself once you hit your goal

Welcome, U1192941884!

So glad you have joined our community. Be gentle on yourself, as you are just getting started on your journey. I love the idea of thinking of "future you" and how proud you will be.

Consider logging the first several days just to get a baseline of where you are and where you might want to make small changes.

Don’t know. I am new too and my stomach thought my throat had been cut for first three days🤣 Thankfully the worst hunger has passed. I am also keeping busy between meals so I have no time to snack and grabbing a glass of water every time my stomach rumbles.😜

I stay motivated by keeping a pair of jeans that are to big. When I am discouraged I try them on. I do not want them to fit ever again! My best to you. You can do this!

I’ve been my plan for 1 week!! The most difficult time is first 3 days. I trained myself stop eating / eating less suddenly make me so sick! But after 3 day I can eat very little mostly fasting whole day. My weight is going down! I’m so happy and proud of 1st week!

Honestly, I find all of this so difficult! Just hang on in there everybody! It will all be easier eventually. The results are 100% worth it too! Also, thanks for the jeans tip, definitely trying that. 😀😘

Try to drink at least one Nalgene water bottle a day and that will help fill up your stomach so you won’t want to snack as much.

I’ve been using the app for 10 months and find it helpful to stay on track. Two things I’ve found is 1) It really is important to log EVERY bite of food or beverage, and 2) there are some things I need to completely stay away from—for me, pastries and chocolate. Your body does lose the cravings over time, but one slip can reactivate them so stay strong! I am in the middle of a holiday lapse and struggling to hang on to my weight loss, but motivated to get 100% back on track after the holidays, not just 90% on track, lol.
