Let’s talk about water Topic

I have never been one to drink all this water, but I have found new ways to drink it. I put lime juice or lemon juice in it. What about you?

I like water well enough, when it’s ice cold. But I still don’t drink much of it— preferring coffee, tea, lemonade, or almost any other form of H2O.

However, I recently made a visit to a new chiropractor, and he gave me a bit of advice about drinking water that has helped me a lot: he said not to think of it as a drink, but to think of it, as if I were just pouring water into the radiator of my car. He explained that if I didn’t have enough water in my system than my blood and other bodily fluids become viscous, then they can actually cause problems for my vital organs, As if my heart was trying to pump sludge instead of blood. As if my liver was trying to filter mud instead of water. He also advised me to just pour it in at loop warm temperatures so that I could do it faster and get it over with. So, nowadays I try to Pour in one cup of lukewarm water every two hours throughout the day, and if I ever want to just sit down and enjoy a glass of water, I’ll put ice in it

I try and drink my water hot, somehow I find that easier than drinking cold water.

Cucumber & watermelon is absolutely refreshing together or separately.

I keep a 24 Oz water cooler/cup refilled on my countertop. Every time I go by it, I sip from a straw and attempt to empty it. If I do, I refill it immediately. I do this all day long.

@ LucyGoose so true. Typically I go through so many water bottles a day & trying to cut down on plastic, I purchased a Simply Modern cup that is insulated with a lid and a straw. Drop a few cubes of ice and it stays cool even say if I don’t finish it before bed and I put it on my nightstand. Next day it’s still ice cold. I think it’s 40oz maybe not quite. But I fill it up multiple times a day.

You can purchase separately small little straw toppers to keep it covered for traveling with it. It’s like a Stanley but very minimalistic and neutral. Can be used for hot drinks too. So those who like warm or hot water, this will keep it at a good temp.
