How do I know what to pick?
I enter “Grapes” and I get a bazillion choices, the first two of which are red/green-grapes and the second is American-grapes.
One is much higher in calories than the other. I have never heard of American Grapes and am tempted to go with the other.
I don’t know how to choose.

I use bar codes where I can, but failing that I look at 3 options and choose the one with the closest to the average amount of calories between them. Next time it will be top of your list….

Hi Punkoo,
Thanks for reaching out. Here are some articles you may find useful. For basic foods like grapes, I would choose from the "staple foods" list because it is from the USDA and has the most complete set of nutrients. For packaged foods, the bar code scanner is a great way to go. Then when you enter that food again, it will pop up to the top of your list so you won't need to scan it again but just select it.
