Making changes - feeling hungry - sticking to it. Day 1 Topic

Look. I know better. I know how to eat right and the changes that need doing. I’m a therapist and I work with many with eating disorders so nutrition is my thing. I am aware that sugar and white flour are addictive. The science is clear. And day one of reducing these is crushing me with cravings and incredible hunger even though I am consuming healthy foods and proper calories. Withdrawal symptoms confirm I was not doing the right things. I have to stick to it. So. I’m logging food and sending video food journals to the dietician that works for me. Thank god she doesn’t mind.
Dang this is hard but I’m glad I am feeling the feelings. I’m sticking to it

You probably know this already, but the cravings go away once you get used to the new way of eating. It doesn’t take long.

So glad you are sticking to it! Once you develop healthier habits and break away from less healthy food, it will get easier. You'll feel so much better. In fact, you might want to keep some notes in your notes section on your dashboard so you can look back and see your progress. Just a thought.
Glad to hear you have a plan. Please keep us posted- Looking forward to hearing about your success! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
