Think not on where you are, but on where you are going!
How IS it going for you?
Any struggles or challenges?
Any successes? The forum shows several positive achievements. Yay, team!
But some of us may also be struggling. How can we help? Remember, together, we are in it to win it! Have a great, positive day!

This is very nice to see, thank you. I struggle with accountability. Work full time, kids, life to easy to say I’ll start tomorrow

I struggle on my days off. On the days I work I am good with the foods I take, my water intake and exercise. On my days off sometimes I am tempted and other times I forget to eat and I don’t drink enough water.

@Brakai02
I would treat my off days like a work day. So for example, I would still prepare my meal for the day and fill my water bottle up just as if it is I had to go to work. Of course you would be doing other things on your day off such as possibly working in your yard or washing your car, etc. Just remember you are developing a new lifestyle and there is no days off from that. Your goal is consistency! I pray that helps🙏🏾

Bragging ... No... But I really want to tell someone who is working hard to bring down their weight and A1c, you can do this! I just got my Dr. Report and my A1c it's 5.2!!!!! I'm normal. Yes you can!

I am on my first week and I’ve never tried proper calorie counting before but I’m realising how and why I wasn’t successful with weight loss before. Also that I don’t have to starve and changing my relationship with food. It’s hard but thank you for your motivation I hope we all pull through and are successful

I have currently lost 14.6 pounds in 6 weeks and I log all my food on this app.
It also helps that I am on Wegovia. It does help curb my appetite. NO, I am not diabetic. There are three for non diabetics and three for diabetics.
I have 66 more pounds to lose. Don’t give up! It’s takes a long time to put it on and even longer to take it off. I find tracking my food helps me stay on track.

This is to U1195051863 who said, “I’m new to this I would like to lose weight but don’t have any motivation advice on daily habits as I don’t have any”
Here are a few:
1. Make sure you eat breakfast (actually, make sure to eat three meals a day unless fasting and eat those meals around the same time every day).
Eat at home as much as possible! Restaurant food is full of fats, carbs, and sodiyumm that will make you bloat out!
Measure your food. This app tells you how many calories you are eating based on measurements you use such as pounds, ounces, milliliters, grams, etc. stay within your calorie budget that is displayed on the main screen of the app.
Ditch the alcohol.
Eat mindfully. If I eat a snack, I set a timer for 6 minutes. Once the timer goes off, I (try! I ain’t perfect!) turn the timer off and put the timer away.
Don’t eat in front of the TV or your phone.
If you are eating with someone, focus on them and not the food.
Don’t eat with your dominate hand.
Put your utensil down between each bite (or slurp if eating soup!).
Sit down to eat. That will help you slow down when eating.
Chew your hard food.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!

Marmadaux, this is all really good advice. Being aware of what is going in when it’s going in helps with the mindless boredom eating.
