New Vitamin regimen Topic

I’ve never been one to take vitamins (never consistent), but I’ve determined that I’m not getting any younger and need to pay attention to my body more. I’m 54, over weight presently and cannot get it off. Have always been athletic but for the past 4 yrs have suffered from arthritis. I need a knee replacement, but trying to hold it off.
I’ve recently started taking Magnesium and Probiotics Enzymes. For muscle/bone strength and digestion. I’ll post my progress here for anyone interested and to keep myself accountable in taking them 🙄

I’ve started taking a b complex vitamin and figured out that’s what is making me sick at my stomach, so I stopped.

Also looking to be more consistent with the multivitamin I take. I try to pay attention to what I’m low in (on the app) when I don’t take the vitamin and it’s usually calcium, iron, vitamin D and omegas.

I try to eat a balanced diet but it’s hard to include everything on limited calories.

So I definitely try for the women’s multi and it doesn’t hurt my stomach but I do tend to have it with breakfast.

should look into an omegas supplement separately, since it’s not included in the multi

Supplements in general are expensive though, maybe the vegan ones I take even more so.

Curious how the magnesium works for you, I didn’t realize it could help with bone and muscle strength, just knew that if your leg is cramping you could have a magnesium deficiency. it was recommended to me for that reason when I did vegan keto

also have never been big on vitamins but I think it’s worth it, I don’t want to be deficient in anything
