Try looking at this as a lifestyle change & not a “diet”. Maybe calorie counting is something that is apart of your life for a long while. It’s hard to judge portions otherwise & it’s easy to say “well how many calories can this really be”, when in fact it’s a lot more than we actually think.
Getting back on track is one day at a time!

I completely agree with CanadaAnne. Weight loss is a journey and it can take time to dial in your meal planning, calorie counting and exercise. And building a routine can be quite motivating.
