I do a variety of different types of workouts & am surprised there is no HIIT (high intensity interval training) category. I use the high impact aerobic category but don’t really feel it is a great substitute. Any suggestions?

Same here. I just started using the app, so may not yet be as savvy as others. But, for my workouts find what closely matches the burn equivalent I get on my watch and log it that way.
I figure it’s close enough.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I don’t have a fitness watch or any other way to log my calorie burn, so I’m dependent on whatever options are available on the app. 🙁

Hi there CanadaAnne-
That is awesome that you are doing HIIT workouts!
Here's an idea for tracking these types of workouts using the app-
Technically, high-intensity interval training can be applied to walking, running, cycling, swimming, or any burst of activity that involves raising your heart rate above 70% maximum heart rate. So I'd suggest selecting the highest level of that exercise in the app for the minutes you have ramped up your heart rate. For example, if you swim with vigorous effort for 4 minutes, and then ramp it down, you'd track the 4 minutes of vigorous and then 4 minutes of leisurely effort. If you were running at 7.5 mph (8 min mile) for 3 minutes, go ahead and track this and then track walking for the next 3 minutes.
