PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Sufferer! Topic


My main problem with PCOS and weight is that darn cravings/appetite. I am on Supplements and Metformin, but, cannot get cravings under control. I crave mainly carbs. I sometimes craves sweets though.

I am trying a low or lower carb diet, but, it is difficult for me. Wish I was normal and didn’t have a medical condition. Then, losing weight would be easier! (Not the same as saying it will be easy)

Welcome any advice from a PCOS sufferer or people that know of that condition. 👍


use sugar free addattives such as splenda/truvia/aspartame and replace it with where it calls for regular sugar and use sugar free sweeteners(like splenda) instead and now u can enjoy ur sweet tooth with no added calories and anyone with experience losing weight will tell u calories is it. protein cars fat doesnt matter, as long as u count and only worry about calories u'll be straight

The best sweetener is xylitol it measures cup for cup like sugar and tastes like sugar with no aftertaste
