Picky eater Topic


I am a picky eater, I don’t know where to begin when eating right since I don’t like lots of foods and am fearful to try new ones.


Hey! I used to be a picky eater too especially when it came to vegetables. I have found now that im in my 20’s im more willing to try things. The transformative abilities of cooking can do wonders. I used to hate all forms of tomatoes but when used in a beef stew I can eat them just fine. I hate raw greens but green cabbage steamed and cooked with a light teriyaki sauce tastes amazing!

Thanks for reaching out. I would make a list of foods that you like and put them into each of the food groups. You may be surprised that you have more foods in your repertoire than you realized. Maybe each week make a goal to try a few new foods to gradually expand your diet. Here is an article on using the plate method to include the different food groups. You can explore each food group to identify foods you like.
