How to get out of a weight range?

I think plateaus while frustrating are part of the journey. Ironically, it may be that you are consuming too few calories and your body want to store the calories you are consuming.

In following the plan since January I have found that my body struggles to lose weight. My calorie count is down to 1100 on auto pilate. This is low but unless I eat less than 1000 I can’t seem to lose. I am missing carbs!! I purchased this program for results and it’s no better than using MyNetDiary with out the fee.

Something may not be right:
I ran into a plateau in January.
So, I really did a deep dive:
1. Am I being truly honest and logging every single calorie?
2. I never drank enough water. I track water now, and just started with a glass per day, now I’m so used to it I drink a gallon throughout the day. It really helps keep cravings away, and helps me prevent overeating.
If your calories are really that low, you body might be in starvation mode: your body is actually slowing down to maintain basic energy to keep your organs running. I’m not a dietitian, but it sounds like that’s the problem.
Finally, don’t quit carbs, look for the healthy carbs.

Why have you cut carbs? I know that is a concept that people believe they need to follow to lose weight but the fact is complex carbohydrates are necessary for both the body & the brain to function properly.
This app should allow you to enjoy everything in moderation and still see weight loss.
I agree with the above comment - are you being honest in logging your calories? The best way to achieve realistic food portions is a food scale. It gives you a real appreciation for what a serving of anything looks like.
And add some movement into your life. Whatever keeps you motivated - walking, dancing, it doesn’t matter. Our bodies are meant to move & that may help you see results.
Good luck!

Hi there U118999624- Sorry to hear the scale is not reflecting your hard work! I realize this can be frustrating.
Here are a few tips to get the scale moving-
1. Make sure you have disabled the feature "add exercise to calorie budget."
While exercise is important, eating the calories burned through activity can stall your weight loss.
2. Make sure you have selected "Sedentary" as your activity level. I am guessing you have already done this. Just wanted to double-check.
3. Some people lose weight by cutting carbs and some do not. Perhaps try the Premium calorie counting plan. This eating plan provides you the flexibility to enjoy the foods you like, within moderation. To learn more about the plans offered at MyNetDiary: https://www.mynetdiary.com/diet-goals.html
