I’m pescatarian and I’m having a hard time meeting my protein goals. What are some quick easy ways to get protein as a pescatarian?


Beans and pulses are relatively high in protein, but can be high in calories. Im also pescatarian and make up a lot of protein through Quorn products and pea protein powder (eg blend into smoothies). Tuna is a good protein:calories ratio but it’s recommended to limit intake as it’s high in mercury. Whereas prawns are very low.

Here are some great articles with ideas for protein sources. Do you include eggs and dairy products? If so, these are excellent protein sources. If not, there are many vegan sources such as beans and peas, tofu and soy products, protein powders, etc. Hope you find this information helpful.
