Thyroid hormone balance/weight loss Topic

Anyone dieting to balance thyroid?
Its been a year since i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and im still clueless to what i should do to help balance hormones. Doctors obviously will not suggest any diet or vitamins to help . Im trying to have one more baby and my last (my third) but i cannot get pregnant or lose any weight . All they tell me is to take my pill every morning and send me on my way. Im going to be 31 this summer and i would really like for anyones input if you have been through this. Thank you!

Make sure you are taking your pill I’m morning on empty stomach 1 hr before you eat.
I was told to stay away from kale, broccoli. Also multi vitamins with calcium and iron that messes with your thyroid. I have had hypo thyroid since I was 22
Just watch what you eat, exercise, no stress and you’ll be fine

I can see why my meds are not working im taking my pills sometimes after coffee of later in the afternoon

I take my meds first thing in the morning around 7 and I don’t eat until 11 to give them time to absorb. There are a bunch of things that cause the meds not to work as well. Once you establish a habit you’ll know if they’re working. But definitely take them in the morning, you can have coffee, just use dairy free creamer 😁

Just started my thyroid meds this week. My doctor said I’ll either gain weight or lose weight from it . Hoping I lose weight. I’ve lost 15 pounds in 2 months so I think I’m doing okay.

If taken first thing in the morning when waking up and waiting an hour, you can have coffee and breakfast.

I take first thing with a big glass of water. Problem not an hour before I eat, but close. My issue is complicated by insulin dependent type1 diabetes and Hashimotos disease. Constant battle to maintain my weight.

Check out the Happy Co products. I’ve been taking and my hormones are finally balancing out!
