This is my first week using the app, I’ve only lost a pound, the app has given me 1556 calories a day to use, I’m 5ft 6 and 178 pounds, do you think I have too many calories allocated to me?

Hi U1189236239- I am sorry for the delay in getting back with you.
Welcome to MyNetDiary! A weight loss of 1# a week is a great start.
I agree with Falcor- chose the sedentary activity option, even if you engage in planned activity every day. I'd also suggest turning off the feature "add exercise to calorie budget." That way when you do exercise your budget won't increase to make up for the energy burned during activity.
I think the 1,556 calorie budget sounds appropriate. Try it for another few days and if you don't have a weight loss then I'd suggest going to 1,456 calories/day.
Are you eating 3m/day? Are you eating whole foods, lean protein and dietary fiber? We have an active blog with lots of sound nutrition advice that you might find helpful: https://www.mynetdiary.com/the-benefits-of-eating-protein.html
