Maybe it’s because of the premium options? Similar thing happened here, but tbh it kind of helps you loose more weight quicker if they don’t add calories for you! :)
Maybe you could ask the developer if the problem persists for a long time.


It’s better if you don’t “eat back” the calories that you lost through exercise, unless you are looking stay at maintenance?
The app is doing you a favour if weight loss is your goal. The calorie deficit does not include calories burned by exercise. So to eat them back defeats the purpose of calorie counting.
