You’re *thirsty, not hungry Topic


Fun fact- your body does not understand the difference between hunger and thirst. So, if you think you’re hungry, chug a full water bottle and keep on keeping on.

Moreover, before you eat your breakfast (I don’t recommend eating breakfast), lunch or dinner... chug a bottle of water beforehand to help partially fill you up & curb overeating!

For what it's worth Bagheera, I never ate breakfast for many many years, and I am convinced that it was one of the reasons I became diabetic. Not sure for fact but for starving my body for so many hours from evening meal through to largish lunch and supper the next day can't have been healthy if I think back now. I started eating breakfast here and there about a decade ago, and for the past 3 months have religiously had Pure Pom juice for artery health, toast and eggs for breakfast. I do sometimes (rarely) skip lunch or have one round whole wheat bread with lean ham and mustard with a cup of tea. Sadly lately all hell's broken loose on my evening meal and snack attacks late on. Not put on weight but oh boy am I kind of gone very stagnant with my average weekly loss lessening each week :(

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you have figured out that your evening meal and late-night snacks are preventing you from continuing to lose. Do you think you might be going into your evening meal overly hungry? Would an afternoon snack help tame your hunger? Just a thought.
