Hi all, I´ve just entered here, but did loose a bit the past 6 months. For years I have not been able to do any physical training due to a bad neck, and been afraid of starting exercise too, because of this. Out of the blue, I started with spinning - stationary biking indoors in a class, with music and instructor - and in 5 months I lost 26 lbs (12 kilos). Unfortunately, about 9 lbs (4 kilos) are back, due to change in diet, change in daily routines and so on, (I was in the army without too many temptations and the same kind of food every single day, now back home and to the life I used to live with work and all that). I have seen that loosing weight did a lot to my blood pressure (I am an intensive care nurse, so of course I know this already, but got to feel it on my own now), and I have felt so much better in all ways. Even my neck is working without trouble! So now, I want to loose those lbs I have gained after returning from my mission abroad, and even loose some more. I hope I can get help from this site and people in the same situation, who are here. Good luck to us all!! And remember: there is only one day like today, it will never come back, so make the best of TODAY!
