Accuracy of omega information Topic

I like that I can see my daily intake of omega-3-ALA and omega-6-LA. It appears that I have been getting essentially none of either of them, which is (if course) concerning. How complete are the omega values in the database? If I am using entries from the database, will the values for those foods always be accurate, or is that data not as complete as things like calories and protein?
I'm pretty new to MyNetDiary, so if this is explained somewhere, please just let me know where to find it. Also, if this is the wrong forum for this topic, please direct me to the correct one. Thank you!

Hi U1195161656,
Thanks for your question. We are only able to provide the omega values for foods when that information is available through the USDA food database. The omega values are not available for a large number of foods so you are correct, it will be missing for some of the foods you eat. Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
