I think part of my weight gain is my nightly nite-caps. I am confused because...as long as I drink clear alcohol strait, I count it as no carbs! Is this right?

Alcohol in any form stalls your weight loss on a low carb diet. It will not sabotage your diet like cheating with carbs, but your body will burn the alcohol first before fat, thus slowing you down in your weight loss. So in essence, you really need to pass on the nightly drink and limit alcohol to an occasional thing. I drink 1-3 nights max a week on a diet.
