Hi all I haven't seen any new postings since I joined this group. Please come back so that we might support each other. I have been on MND since March 1, 2011 and have lost 21.5 lbs. I would eventually like to lose another 35 but might be 100 years old before that happens :)

Hi I just joined this group. I have been using the App for several months now, including some vacation time. Still I am losing. I don't mind losing slowly so I have been trying to correct my unhealthy habits and still enjoy home cooking, restaurant outings with family, etc!

Hi Welcome! No one seems to be active on this loop except me...and now you. I have been using this app since March. I have lost 24 lbs and it is coming off super slowly. I really think it is much harder to lose weight as you get older. Good luck with your weight loss. I still enjoy restaurant outings but they do tend to set me back for a couple of days, even though I am very careful with what I order.

Hi, I really like this program. I am finally losing pounds at a nice rate, however I have to eat very few calories. I guess it really is harder when older. I am now getting most all calories from vegetables and I am not hungry. Like many I have been on many diets in my lifetime, but this is by far the best. I do need to exercise more regularly. I do,like to walk and ride my bike.

Hi Group. I am a 72 year old guy who likes to bike. At 5-9 and 190lbs i am way over weight but having trouble loosing weight. I exercise a lot which makes me hungry. Program says I should be consuming 1750 calories a day to loose 1.5 pounds a week. Seems like i am going to have to eat even less?

It took me a few weeks to get my weight lose going! I was so frustrated. I turned 70 on Thanksgiving Day and I think it takes longer to lose the older we are.
I really love vegetables and I think that has helped me the most. I don't know if you like spaghetti squash or not, but I find it filling and healthy. I just pierce it and microwave it for 15 minutes. I put a little maranera sauce on top and I feel like I'm eating spaghetti!
I have lost about 15 pounds so far.

Do you give yourself a sweet reward? Every evening I treat myself to a 100 calorie fudgsicle. It satisfies my sweets yearning and looking forward to having it each night helps me avoid eating much richer desserts throughout the day.

It worked! So will add a little more. I have been battling a weight problem since my second son was born. It's probably a good thing I keep at it, but am tired of the yo-yoing. Only need to lose 20#, but haven't made any headway. Now I think I'm serious. I love to walk early in the morning. Did 3 miles today and another 2 miles walking around Walmart etc. So have gotten my first 10,000 sep day! Three cheers.

Thank you for the idea of the spaghetti squash. I have not fixed that for a long time.
