Hi, I'm Mike. 52 years old and want to lose about 60 pounds. My goal is to get under 200 pounds by September. I've been using MND for over a year on and off, and now it's time to get serious, since I put on about 30 pounds in the past year.
More about me, I'm a single dad. I'm a chef and I love cooking and creating in the kitchen. At home I'm a pretty simple cook (I just put up a batch of pasta sauce and a batch of chili in the freezer.
My main struggle is coca-cola. I'm an addict. I need to cut way back on it. I'm not sure if I can cut it out completely.
Looking forward to chatting with you and working on this together with you all!

Hey, Mike:
The good thing about Coca-Cola -- in fact, it's the *only* good thing I have to say bout the stuff -- is that, if you never touch another drop, you have given up NOTHING of value. If you are genuinely addicted, and I'm sure you are since you say so, quitting cold turkey is the way to go; "cutting way back" won't do the trick. Try the "one day at a time" approach. You might also consider substituting tea -- that worked for me.

Hey Mike! I live in Texas and have 20 pounds to lose. I really would like to eat healthier. I and 56. I used to be addicted to diet Pepsi. I mean seriously addicted! At least a liter per day! I weaned myself off it since I was feeling like a lab rat with all those chemicals! I drink unsweetened ice tea now! You wouldn't happen to have a great raspberry vinaigrette recipe by chance? I've been buying bottled store stuff but they have so much sugar in them. For me the whole healthier thing is about sugar addiction...
