Good afternoon! I am an accomplished business woman, mother, church goer, reader, lover of learning half-way decent human: who has now been over 100 lbs. too heavy for 18 years.
What's up with that? So. Though I have taken many half hearted attempts at taking care of this problem -- this year I am going public and making sure that I either lose weight -- or am completely embarrassed if I don't!
Looking for motivation/encouragement -- just not smarmy platitudes. Straight forward "yeah, this is tough but it's just food so don't stick it in your mouth" kind of stuff.
We're smart. We can do this, right?

I've lost 120+ lbs during a year and should say it was hard. But this is all about our eating preferences. Everybody is much stronger, than the hunger. If someone say me they cant stand it, I just dont believe. We rule our body, so just dont move toward the fridge and you would win. Also, eat what you want, but eat less, then your body consume. And finally, a stockpile of cabbage and carrots would feed you the same way as the cake or fat burger.
I'm still fighting with 30 pounds I should get off me to meet the goal - and it would be another journey for the next year or so - but its managable if to follow the 3 rules: eat less you burn, fill the belly with vegies and greens every time you feel hunger and stay cool when especially hungry - this is exactly when we lose weight.
And hey - this is just food! Are you getting excited and happy, when you fuel your car?!
