Kathy has been providing nutrition and dieting support to MyNetDiary and its members for over 10 years. She became a huge fan of diet and exercise tracking after she started using MyNetDiary to manage her own weight. As of October 2019, she has maintained her target weight for over 9 years. Although she no longer needs to track 24/7 to maintain her weight, she returns to tracking for 2-3 weeks after vacations or if she notices her weight increases more than 2-3 lbs. Tracking is her “reality check” and mindfulness nudge.
Kathy became a dietitian and diabetes educator in her 40s. She figured since her favorite hobbies were (and still are) going out to restaurants and baking, becoming a dietitian would give her the skills to “have her cake and eat it too.” Best decision of her life – it worked. She also enjoys walking, hiking, skiing and biking in beautiful blue-sky Colorado.
