Calorie count against nutrient limit Topic

I started the low fat diet a month ago and I’m noticing that sometimes I reach my nutrient limit on either carbs, fat or protein before reaching my calorie limit, should I focus on calories and not worry about going over these nutrient limits

Nothing to worry about. :) as long as the food is healthy. Try to reach your protein goal at minimum as that helps with feelings of hunger.

Hi Sarah-
Welcome to MyNetDiary!
If you are meeting your fat target (I am guessing this is your focus since you selected the low-fat eating plan?), eating mostly whole foods, and getting close to your calorie target each day you should not have an issue.
This article may help you with the low-fat diet: https://www.mynetdiary.com/low-fat-diet.html
Please keep us updated on your progress. Have a great day! Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Thanks, I’m doing well I’ve lost a pound a week which was my aim and to continue that for a year as I need to lose at least 4 stone, even got my husband and son using the app, they think it’s great and easier than having to turn up at a weekly local group like other diet courses
