Looking for some videos for low impact exercises at home? This list includes some of our personal favorites, and we also combed the web. We even included some seated exercise, and also a few for advanced age and limited mobility.

Low impact exercises at home

If you can't get out of the house or office to exercise - no worries! The internet and recorded videos offer plenty of exercises that can be done in the home or office. All you need is a space to safely move around, comfortable clothing, supportive athletic shoes, maybe an exercise mat, and a screen. The screen could be your smartphone, tablet, or smart TV. You just need to be connected to the internet and you are set to move. If the virtual option is a good fit, many fitness studios also offer live workouts, often for a fee.

I use exercise videos when I can't get out of the house for whatever reason. They are especially convenient while raising kids or for a quick workout during lunch, a break, or before showering for work. The YouTube channel is also fun for discovering exercise videos. In fact, I use videos for workouts at home, in the office or empty conference room, and even for hotel room yoga when traveling. And, if you're not connected to the internet, there are also plenty of exercise DVDs to use as an alternative.

Seated exercise

Seated exercise is great for seniors and those needing slow and gentle movement.
