Can Trackers log all exercise instead of losing it to "resting" calories discrepancy? Topic

Because MyNetDiary estimates my Weight Management Calories differently to Garmin's Resting Calories, my first 566 calories of exercise are not recorded each day.
If I record 2076 active calories in one day, MyNetDiary logs 1510 calories.
If I spread the exact same activity over 4 days, MyNetDiary logs 0 calories.
I am aware of the rationale for calculating it this way, but this doesn't reflect reality, and I am finding it very demotivating to be penalized for more regular exercise.
Is there something we can configure to solve this discrepancy? I would be happy to lower the WMC below "Sedentary" (which would make sense since MyNetDiary is claiming I do less a lot of the time), or have days with sub-"Sedentary" activity record "negative" activity calories, or raise Garmin's RMR, but I haven't found any way to configure these.

Thanks Joanna.
I have been corresponding with Valerie and Sergey about it, and they have been helping me.
I have good news - I have just realized the Weekly Analysis appears to be unaffected by these discrepancies! The section "Your Totals" has a direct comparison of calories eaten against Garmin's totals, which is exactly what I want.
I was already looking at this screen regularly, so I feel a lot more reassured now that my overall monitoring isn't being swayed too much by resting calorie estimate complications.
