Check In Topic

Hey all 40-Somethings!!

I am new and posted a couple times, but have noticed that there is really not a lot of chatting going on this year yet. Even in 2010 there wasn't much!

I'm hoping to change that!! We need to support each other on our journeys to better health, physics and all that!!

It would be good if everyone who is still on this group could check in and tell us all how you are doing so far in 2011!!

I'm very new to this group and don't wanna step on toes, but I really do believe that we need to have a lively group to support each other. The reason I joined this group is because it has lots of members in it! I expected lots of chatting!!

So let's check in and get posting so we can support each other!!

Peace Out

Sorry,

I don't chat very often.. I do however love to read everyones post and follow there charts..

That's alright that you don't chat, I just wanted to get a feel for where everyone is at this year!! I want to support and be there for each other. So if you feel like posting please do. It's great that you read and see other's charts as it hopefully will give you inspiration!!

Peace Out

Hi, Just joined the group today. Would like to see more encouragement for all. Good luck on reaching your goals.

I am relatively new to the group, I have lost 8lbs so far with a long way to go!

I'm another newbie. Not new to weight loss... unfortunately. I'd like to lose 40 about pounds. And keep it off. I'm sick of constantly starting dieting, and want to focus on other things for a change!

Hi All, it's been a long time away for me but in the last month I've got focused again on improving my health.

It's good to see you all chatting and supporting each other and it's a group I feel may help in the motivational and support domain for me also

I need to lose another 50lbs to achieve one of my health goals

I just started today! I have never had a health or excersize plan work, and I can easily gain weight by eating like I am still 18 years old! I have to stop the trend. This time, I'm gonna do it! I am now about 40lbs overweight, and it really shows! At 6'1", I have been able to hide slight weight gains, but no more...I am now thick everywhere! Any other mid-40's men out there in my situation, and going to actually LOSE it this time??

Yep! I'm the same height and i did like to believe I'm only 40lbs overweight but got a shocker when my doc said I was 88lb overweight with slightly high blood pressure.

Just started to cut back on crap foods, not entirely yet but going in right direction.

Just join today, I'm 42 and one of my goals in 2012 is to 'Speak up' :) so I want to start posting on a regular basis.
