Christmas not as bad as it looked Topic

Would also like to say that I got away from using MND and while I was still losing weight, the rate went way down. Just knowing I have to write down anything that goes in my mouth and that I get some credit for get out and doing some exercise really seems to be enough to make a difference.

Thanks for the report, Jloughlin!

Happy New Year and congratulations on your initial weight loss! How fun that you have a musical coming up in May.

It sounds like you kept a good attitude and didn't let the holiday setback derail your efforts. Tracking food and activity is one of the most effective ways to get back on track and reach your goals. Glad you hear you are back to using MND regularly!

Keep us posted on your progress!

Good job, Jloughlin! I find that if I don’t use MND for a day my weight loss slows down and it is also so tempting to quit altogether. Day 3 for me of “keeping it together”.

Way to go Jloughlin and Amlloyd53! Keep on tracking! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Tough few weeks. Have been diligent about staying on a diet that should easily take more than a lb a week off, but it took me almost three weeks to lose the next lb.I consume less than 1500 calories a day and exercise for a burn of around 400-500 calories a day. I do think I can notice some gains by the way my clothes fit, but it is disheartening to climb on the scales and see no progress. Hoping the next ten days will show me the results I think I have been making.

It is so crazy. No weight loss for almost three weeks and now 3 lb in the last two days which puts me back on track.

Awesome news Jloughlin! Way to stay the course and not throw in the towel.

Christmas is certainly a thing. I finished December the same weight as I started, but I guess that counts as a win.

Yes, Christmas is definitely a thing! Many people aim to maintain, not gain during the holidays or vacations. I'd say you were successful to maintain your weight during a time full of treats, parties, and indulgence! Count it as a win and now move on to keep losing! Brenda (MyNetDiary DIetitian)
