Back from the holidays. Wasn't able to log consistently and my gym schedule was disrupted but did get there a couple of times and did a pretty good amount of walking. Weigh in is tomorrow so I'll see where I am. Back to my usual good habits this week, including no wine during the week and have brought leftover holiday goodies to my colleagues just to get them out of the house!

Well November and December were not so kind, I started a new job and the holiday season. I gained but approx 3lbs, I am alright with that over the last 8 weeks, I will take that! i learned so much about my eating habits and that routine is a healthy eating must for me and when I changed my routine, I was really struggling to get meals in, which leads me to overeating and making bad food choices. So add that I am surrounded by motherly colleagues that keep giving me chocolates and cookies, 3lbs not to bad. I think I have put a stop to the feed Jodie train, :D especially since now they are looking to me for help with their weight loss resolutions.
My husband Mike, MKEG on the success stories has not been so lucky and is now back on Netdiary. I hope he can settle into a 2011 routine that has him in control of his many food temptations. Together I hope we can inspire one another. I am going to take a run at finally losing my "vanity" pounds. 10 lbs can't be too hard...bahahah I have a feeling these will be the hardest 10lbs of my life.

Weigh in today. Gained only .4 pounds since pre-Christmas-week weigh in on 12/16. That's right, less than a half pound. I am thrilled! Back to the gym today and back to logging consistently since Monday. Jodie, you inspire me. Perhaps, I will tackle my "vanity pounds" later in the year. Right now I am happy to be maintaining since last June.

I started a new job 2010 and made a rule,as we live by roles whether we like them or not. I don't eat one thing at work I did not plan to. Not easy.It has helped You did good for the stress of a new job Something to be proud of-Fran

Wow and great job . Might not even be 0.4 pounds as we flutuate so much day to day. You did great Congratulations.

Great! 0.4 lbs is pretty decent! That is within normal daily weight fluctation anyway.

Hello all. I am new to your group but not to MND. I have lost 52lb and have been maintaining for about 3 months. So far so good - I no longer need meds for hypertension and GERD. I use MND every day and really believe it is the reason I have been so successful (so far). Gained a couple of pounds over the holidays but got right back on track and have lost them again. Happy to be with you all.

Good to "hear" from you both. Gets a little concerning when no one seem to be around. ReallWonderful to hear you have both been successful. Me too which is a relief. Realy worried about the holidays but made it through. Maintanence for me is harder than the loss period. Guess like everything else it is an adjustment.
