How is everyone doing these days? I'm doing pretty well. The time change has confused my body a little in terms of waking up in the morning.

I'm still hanging in there. Birthday party Sunday was great - no problems. Gained 1.5 lb - mostly water and am back on track already as you can see from my chart. I have been maintaining for 7 months now and am beginning to have the confidence that I can really do this!! However am still really vigilant and record food and weight every day. I think that may be the secret. Have to treat this as if I am a recovering addict and take one day at a time. It really isn't too difficult as I feel so healthy now and don't intend to go back to the high blood pressure meds and reflux.

I feel like I indulged a little over the weekend, celebrating 14th wedding anniversary (and in even better shape than I was for my weedding.) Not too much indulgence though and made it to yoga on Sunday in spite of a cold coming on. Back to the good habits this week. I think that maintenance is getting easier if only because I have adjusted to the idea of it being a "forever thing."

Maintenance really is a mindset. The fact that we can simply acknowledge when the scale tips up or down and adjust to stay level is incredibly empowering.
Happy birthday, Trish, and Happy Anniversary, Clochette2!

Happy birthday!Really great job. Looks like the road we took was the right one.I am starting to really look at this weight thing as a chronic disease that has to be monitored vigilantly. Think I knew this from the start. So good you are reaping the perks of the weight loss- Stay well-Fran

Definitely ready for a fresh start! I was in New Orleans for a business trip last week. Definitely not a diet friendly town but I didn't go too crazy. Made it to yoga once. Tried to stick to fresh seafood and avoid fried things which was definitely harder to do there than at home. Back to extra good habits this week and intend to add in some extra exercise.

That sounds like a fun place to go. Some day I'll go there. Only been to Michigan and Las Vegas in the States :)
Sounds like you did alright no matter what :) Good job.
