You can feel very full on a diet that is still low cal - it just takes a bit more planning and you may not have a lot of food variety! I'm following a starch solution diet which you can see a ton of info for on Dr mcdougalls website. But if you like potatoes- that is a staple of this diet- but you need to avoid any dairy or butter or fats. I pressure cook my potatoes and use salsa and sweet pea guacamole as my main toppers for it. Or a veggie mix with maybe a lot fat sauce.

I also drink green smoothies- a good way to get the nutrition from dark leafy things you might not otherwise eat. I blend banana, peaches and spinach, kale or romaine with water and vanilla and some chia seeds for a daily smoothie. Start with a little greens and work your way up. Greenfamily.com has some recipes and books on this too

Hi Everyone - sorry, I don't get notified when people post in this group so I sometimes forget to check it since it is on its own webpage in Community tab.

How are folks doing these days? Doing better?

A tip for avoiding too much hunger while you are on a lower calories intake is to make sure you get enough protein at meals and for the whole day. Aim for at least 20 grams protein per meal and 60 grams protein per day (or more).
