Hello U1191251479- I am sorry to hear you are struggling. It sounds like you are going through an incredibly scary time. I would advise calling or texting the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) 24-hour helpline at 1-800-931-2237. They understand and can help. If you feel you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
We at MyNetDiary take health and eating habits very seriously and ask that anyone who is currently struggling with disordered eating of any type, stop using the app and get help immediately. The MyNetDiary terms of use state, “If you currently have or have had anorexia nervosa, bulimia, or other related eating disorders, you are not permitted to use this Site and the Mobile Apps." This statement exists to protect you. Our overriding concern is your safety. Here are our terms of use for your review: https://www.mynetdiary.com/terms.html
Finally, while tracking food and exercise can be valuable for users wanting to improve their health, it can reinforce unhealthy behaviors for those with or at risk for eating disorders. We suggest you stop counting calories, delete the app, and get help with your relapse. You are worth it! Please let me know you received this, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

I have anorexia and I recommend this app. I don't restrict due to weight reasons, it's a learned cooling mechanism I've used my whole life. Then when I try to gain weight I never can bc of the abuse it's done to my body. I like this app bc it holds you accountable. You can set weight gaining goals, don't listen to other people, it's hard to find resources when your disorder affects less than 2% of the population. I'm working w a nutritionist and we're trying to gain 1 lb a week (so far unsuccessful bc of my starting a physically demanding job) to keep me out of inpatient treatment. There's a lot of hardships you will face but keep pushing yourself bc you are worthy and deserve to eat and feel good. You will feel worse before you feel better. But after dealing w my disorder for about 30 years alone I'm glad I'm getting help.

Hello U1191333728-
Strong work with partnering with a professional nutritionist while you are actively dealing with anorexia. I am guessing since you have been dealing with this for a long time you are also partnering with a professional counselor who is experienced in working with individuals with anorexia. Good for you for taking that important step to get help and do the work to nourish your body and mind. I am sure this has not been easy.
While tracking food and exercise can be valuable for users wanting to improve their health, it can reinforce unhealthy behaviors for those with or at risk for eating disorders.
We at MyNetDiary take health very seriously and support healthy eating behaviors. https://www.mynetdiary.com/eating-disorders-food-tracking.html
Our terms and conditions prohibit anyone with an active eating disorder from using the app. Thank you for recommending this app. We appreciate that. And yet others out there with anorexia may not be as aware or supported as you. Did you know that research has shown that tracking while struggling with an eating disorder can make things worse. Here are our terms and conditions for your review: https://www.mynetdiary.com/terms.html
I realize this sounds harsh. We are concerned for your overall health and want you to get better and would hate for tracking to make things worse.
Wishing you the best in your continued recovery. We are so glad you are getting the help you need. You are worth it! Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
