First 20lbs.... gone! Topic


I just wanted to take a minute and encourage anyone who thinks they can't do this. I've never used a calorie counter before in my life and sadly I'm pretty much a living couch potato right now lol, due to medical conditions. (My medical condition is what drives me, I need this kidney transplant!)

So! No matter your circumstances, it can be done. I've reached my first goal of 20lbs before my "due date" lol, and I'm on to my second set of 20lbs..... twenty at a time, that's how I'm attacking this monster! It's easier for me to say I need to lose 20, than it is to say I need to lose 80 more! It's a mind game with me, but it's working! I have an amazing support system here at home who always encourage me and allow me to be me but support and encourage my "eating well" habits, I've never had that before, and boy, what a difference it makes! Keep striving and making good choices everyone, cause if I can do this, ANYONE can! Hope you are all reaching your goals!

Thanks you guys! Never in a million would I have thought it was as easy as this first 20lbs was. Portion control and better choices was all it took! That and like I said, my support system, was all I needed to stay on point. Thanks for the encouragement, it's so appreciated!


Great job Cindy, well done. Good luck for the remaining pounds. I have lost 1 st 2 lbs. Reached my target weight but I'm maintaining my new eating habits.

This is very encouraging!! Good luck to all of us. But it is really true. Calorie counting, portion control and different choices are what really works. I've never counted calories before but I have counted weight watcher points. I prefer calorie counting so far. It just makes more sense. And this app is awesome!
