First time Topic

First time posting... I get an hour off for lunch as for before I use to stay in and do some browsing on the computer and just waste the time. Now I go for a 1 1/2 mile walk around the industrial area of where I work, it normally takes about 25-30minutes and I walk with a couple of 2lb. weights. Then after work I normally hit the gym for another 45 to an hour at that then get home and sleep really good and always looking forward to the next day. I feel guilty if I miss a walk or the gym.

Well , I'm checking back in. So this is what has been going on, I started to jog more with my husband at the gym and he has been motivating me to go a little longer. This past weekend Oct 29, 2011, I had ran my 3rd 5K race and doing it at times between 35 min on my first one and on the 3rd I'm down to 33min. I'm so happy and I'm ready to do the Susan G Komen race that is coming up.

Wow u are amazing! That is so impressive:-). You must have serious determination! I walk during my lunch break at work too and hit the gym hard after work. I feel more guilty if I don't do anything at all. I make sure to try to do both but I am not perfect. Fill me in on Any tips and what keeps u motivated!

The holiday season was terrible, I RealAudio slacked off at that point and boy did I hate myself for it. I had to fight with myself just to hit the gym after work, I wasn't doing it full heartily.
So now I'm getting myself back on track, I'm doing 2.5 miles at lunch time which I do jogging and a little walking. I like to keep track of time, pace, and calories and I'm always trying to beat my pace for the distance.
And I'm also a lot better at hitting the gym after work, it's hard because everyone else new year resolution is there so it's hard to get a machine. But it all good:)
I look at some clothes and say I want to fit comfortable I those shorts, pants by the end of the month, I like to give short goals like this week no breads and just start with small items and then maybe have like a slice the next week if needed. It's just changing eating habits for the better.
